Overview
IYS 2025, the eighth iteration of the Istanbul Youth Summit organized by Youth Break the
Boundaries (YBB) foundation, aims to inspire emerging leaders who push the limits of their potential
to come together to discuss and implement strategies for Empowering Youth Leaders to Drive
Sustainable Change for A Brighter Future. The summit also promotes collaboration among diverse
young people from various fields to harness their leadership skills in working towards achieving
sustainable development goals.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of goals that serve as a guide for countries
worldwide in their development efforts, replacing the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that
concluded in 2015. The SDGs encompass a range of areas including Education (SDG 4), Health (SDG
3), Economy (SDG 8), and Environment (SDG 13), among others.

Airport Assistant*, Registration [Hotel Check-in], Opening Ceremony and Gala Dinner. *The airport assistant will be split into two teams: one for arrivals and one for departures. Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, delegates can expect assistance at two different schedules: 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM Turkish time. For those arriving at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, assistance will only be available at the 12:00 PM schedule. Check-in time will start at 14.00 Turkish Time. The Opening Ceremony Program will begin at 16.00 Turkish Time on Bosphorus Cruise. *tbc |

Project Group Presentation, Awarding Night. *Each delegate will be assigned to a distribution group based on the SDGs they have chosen, to work together on creating a social project to present. These groups will consist of 10-15 members each, with one leader selected by the group members. |

Airport Assistant*, Claim Certificate. *The airport assistant for departure at Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport is on 12.00 pm. Please be aware that the airport assistant service is not available for delegates arriving before February 17, 2025 or departing from Istanbul after February 20, 2025. The airport assistant service is only provided for delegates arriving at the hotel on the first day of the program and departing from the hotel to the airport on the last day of the program. Check-out time is maximal at 11.00. Those who are later than the estimated time may have an additional charge for late check-out. |
